Hello, my name is Alexander Altendorfer. I am 29 years old, live in Salzburg in Austria and work in my advertising agency.

I have been fascinated by photography and film since my childhood, which is probably in the family. At the age of 13, I got my first own camera, and since then, I’ve loved taking pictures. If you are interested in my photos, you can view a selection of them on my 500px profile.
The theme Stop Motion Animation I discovered by chance. I’ve always enjoyed playing with LEGO, and when I discovered a video with animated LEGO characters on YouTube, I really wanted to try it myself. In the course of time, I then taught myself the stop motion technique and refined it.

In 2014, in collaboration with mitp-Verlag, I brought the book Stop Motion Animation: Creative Films with LEGO® figures to the market, and in 2017 I wrote my bachelor thesis on Character Animation with the Limitations of Analogue Animation of LEGO Figures.

After my media technology and design study, I now work independently in the field of online marketing, where the stop motion technology continues to apply from time to time! 🙂
